This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected and used when you visit, make a purchase or book a session from www.wisdomwithinthewinds.ca.
STORING, USAGE, SHARING AND DISCLOSING OUR SITES' VISITORS' PERSONAL INFORMATION
Wisdom Within the Winds is hosted on the Site Jet platform and is hosted by Web Hosting Canada. Site Jet provides an online platform for us to sell our e-readings and services to you. Your data may be stored in Site Jet's data storage, databases, and general Site Jet applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.
All direct payments for PayPay, the payment platform used for purchases or services, adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS, as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, and American Express. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
PERSONAL INFORMATION THAT WE COLLECT
We receive, collect and store any information you enter on our website or provide us in any other way; including:
- Contact Forms: Your name and email are required when submitting a message through our Contact page's form or if you signed up for our newsletter.
- Bookings: Your name and email are required when booking a Reiki session. We will also collect your cell number if you request to receive an SMS reminder before your appointment.
- Digital Purchases: Your name, email and mailing address are required when purchasing an e-reading. At the moment, submitting a mailing address is the only checkout format available on Wix. It's optional, but we will also collect your phone number to contact you regarding any technical issues (ex: your e-reading booklet bounces back).
- Cookies: The Site Jet platform uses cookies for important reasons, such as:
> To provide a great experience for your visitors and customers.
> To monitor and analyse the performance, operation and effectiveness of Site Jet's platform.
> To ensure our platform is secure and safe to use.
In addition, we collect the Internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the Internet. The only way a web server can send the contents of a web page to your browser is if it has your computer's address on the network. We may also use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, visit durations for certain pages, and page interaction data.
Wisdom Within The Winds will not sell or rent this information to anyone.
We may obtain personal data about you from third parties and public sources, as described below. When a Third-Party Service is enabled, we are authorized to connect to and access additional information made available to us under our agreement with the relevant Third-Party Provider. WHY WE COLLECT SUCH PERSONAL INFORMATION
Wisdom Within The Winds and the SitJet platform collect non-personal and personal Information, as stated above for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Services;
- To provide our Users with ongoing customer assistance and technical support;
- To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;
- To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we may use to provide and improve our respective services.
HOW WE COMMUNICATE WITH SITE VISITORS
All content on the website may not be copied or republished.
Wisdom Within The Winds may need to contact you to:

- To troubleshoot problems with your account.

The information provided during readings and sessions is held in the strictest confidence; this ensures that no details are disclosed to any third party, other than when:
- Such disclosure is required by law.
- Or, if Christine Maunu-Westley determines that there is a clear and imminent danger to The Client or others.
